The Thomas Edison difference
A McConnellsburg electrician from Thomas Edison Electric covers ZIP 17233, the seat of Fulton County, along with Harrisonville and Big Cove Tannery close by. The electrician who takes a McConnellsburg call is a direct employee, on our payroll and not a subcontractor's, driving a van stocked at home.
We hold Pennsylvania license PA075449, full insurance, and a record of over 37,000 jobs completed since 2021. Every job starts with a written quote, and a late arrival means we waive the dispatch fee. Call 215-227-7000, any hour of the day.
Being the largest town in Fulton County does not change how quickly we pick up.
Aluminum wiring and 100-amp service are familiar work here.
We check panel capacity before adding the circuit.
Every McConnellsburg job goes to a direct employee.
Holidays included.

Transparent pricing means written quotes with no surprises.
As the county seat, McConnellsburg is the largest town we serve in Fulton County, with a population of 1,009 and a typical home dating to 1960. Aluminum branch wiring, 100-amp panels, two-prong outlets and recalled Federal Pacific or Zinsco panels turn up often in houses from that era.
A breaker panel upgrade is usually the first step for a house like that, clearing the way for a home EV charger or whatever the next addition turns out to be. We check the whole panel, not just the breaker that tripped, before we recommend anything.
Met-Ed serves most McConnellsburg addresses, with Fulton County's rural cooperatives covering the townships around the borough.
McConnellsburg issues its own electrical permits under Pennsylvania's Uniform Construction Code, and like most Fulton County municipalities, it relies on a third-party agency for plan review and inspection rather than an in-house department. We pull the permit and schedule the inspector as part of the job, all reflected in your written quote.
Met-Ed serves most McConnellsburg addresses, with the county's rural cooperatives covering the townships around the borough. The utility owns the meter and the lines feeding it. We own the panel and everything wired to it, any hour you need us.
Our Pennsylvania and New Jersey experts are ready to resolve your electrical woes.

Absolutely thrilled with our electrician Dennis! He was very knowledgeable and polite. Made this process very easy and stress free. We had two light fixtures put in along with an exhaust fan, cleaned up after and everything. Highly recommend this company and their electrician!

Had a great experience with Michael Van for my initial inspection/walk-through and Steve P and the crew with the install. All of them, including the employees on the phone, were polite and prompt, and I'm very satisfied with my new electrical panel and wiring.
