The Thomas Edison difference
A Needmore electrician from Thomas Edison Electric answers in ZIP 17238, close to Big Cove Tannery and Warfordsburg in Fulton County. You get one of our own electricians, not a subcontractor, driving a TEE van that left home already stocked for whatever the job turns out to need.
We carry Pennsylvania license PA075449, full insurance, and over 37,000 jobs completed since 2021. A written quote comes before any work starts, and a late arrival means we waive the dispatch fee. Call 215-227-7000, any hour.
No job here is too small to get a licensed electrician.
Knob-and-tube, fuse boxes and 60-amp service are routine work for us.
A written quote before anything is installed.
Van stocked at home before the first call.
Every day of the year, holidays included.

Transparent pricing means written quotes with no surprises.
Needmore's population is 196, and most homes here date to 1956. That puts the wiring squarely in knob-and-tube and fuse box territory, with 60-amp services and ungrounded outlets still common behind the walls.
A panel that old rarely keeps up with a modern kitchen, let alone range and dryer outlets sized for current appliances. We also get regular calls for custom lighting, since fixture wiring this age was never built for the loads we run through it today.
Whether it is Met-Ed or a rural cooperative that reaches your meter here depends on the exact address, and we confirm which one before any meter work begins.
Needmore's electrical permits go through the township under Pennsylvania's Uniform Construction Code. Most Fulton County townships send plan review and inspection to a third-party agency instead of keeping one in-house, so the exact process depends on where you are. We handle the filing and the inspection scheduling, both part of your written quote.
Whether Met-Ed or a rural cooperative reaches your meter, a service upgrade means coordinating with them for the meter swap, and we set that appointment ourselves so you only deal with one call, and that call is us.
Our Pennsylvania and New Jersey experts are ready to resolve your electrical woes.

Absolutely thrilled with our electrician Dennis! He was very knowledgeable and polite. Made this process very easy and stress free. We had two light fixtures put in along with an exhaust fan, cleaned up after and everything. Highly recommend this company and their electrician!

Had a great experience with Michael Van for my initial inspection/walk-through and Steve P and the crew with the install. All of them, including the employees on the phone, were polite and prompt, and I'm very satisfied with my new electrical panel and wiring.
