The Thomas Edison difference
A Hustontown electrician from Thomas Edison Electric covers ZIP 17229 in Fulton County, close to Fort Littleton and Harrisonville. Nobody we send to a Hustontown job is a subcontractor. Our electricians dispatch from home in vans stocked before the day begins.
We carry Pennsylvania license PA075449, full insurance, and a record of over 37,000 jobs completed since 2021. A written quote comes before any work starts, and a late arrival means the dispatch fee is waived. Call 215-227-7000, any hour.
A small town does not mean a smaller crew or a slower answer.
Knob-and-tube, fuse boxes and 60-amp service are routine work for us.
A written list of what needs fixing, nothing guessed at.

Hustontown's population is 127, and the typical home here dates to 1959. Knob-and-tube wiring remnants, fuse boxes, 60-amp services and ungrounded outlets are all still common in houses from that period.
We check for electrical code violations on older homes heading toward a sale or refinance, since a fuse box or an ungrounded outlet is often flagged. An electrical safety inspection covers the whole house in one visit and gives you a written list before you decide what to fix first.
Met-Ed and Fulton County's rural electric cooperatives both serve homes in the area, and we sort out which one runs to your meter before scheduling any work.

Hustontown's electrical permits are issued by the township under Pennsylvania's Uniform Construction Code, with plan review and inspection typically handled by a third-party agency, the norm across most of Fulton County. We manage the filing and the inspector's visit, both built into your written quote.
Met-Ed covers much of Hustontown, though a rural electric cooperative may cover your specific address instead. A whole-street outage is a call to whichever one applies. A single dead outlet or a breaker that will not hold, on the other hand, is a call to us, any hour.
Our Pennsylvania and New Jersey experts are ready to resolve your electrical woes.

Lyle was fantastic to work with! He was very punctual, arriving right within the expected window the day of. While he was here he did good work, made sure to answer all questions during and after the job was completed, and cleaned up all traces of work being done like drywall dust and leftover bits of wire/wood scraps before leaving. 10/10, would entrust again.
