The Thomas Edison difference
Need a Mifflin electrician? Thomas Edison Electric covers ZIP 17058 and the rest of Juniata County, from Mifflintown out past Port Royal and Mexico. Our crews are our own employees, never subcontractors, dispatching from home in fully stocked TEE vans.
We are licensed under PA075449, fully insured and rated 4.8 stars on Google. Since 2021 we have completed over 37,000 jobs. Call 570-648-8800 any hour. The price is written before we start, and a late arrival waives the dispatch fee.
Every electrician works directly for Thomas Edison Electric and drives a stocked van from home.
A single dead outlet gets the same licensed electrician as a full rewire.
You approve the price before work begins.
Nights, weekends and holidays are normal hours for us.
Miss the window, and the dispatch fee disappears.

Transparent pricing means written quotes with no surprises.
Mifflin is quiet, rural territory, and most calls are practical: a panel that trips too often, an outlet that stopped working, a fixture that needs replacing. Our vans are stocked for that.
Across Juniata County, homes from the 1970s often still carry aluminum branch wiring, 100-amp panels and two-prong outlets. We fix the connections properly or move you to a 200-amp panel, and can add a dedicated circuit for a well pump or shop.
Mifflintown is 12.7 miles off, Port Royal and Mexico further still. Same crews and pricing the whole way.
Pennsylvania handles electrical permits under its Uniform Construction Code, and Mifflin follows the same pattern as the rest of Juniata County: the township issues the permit, and an outside agency usually reviews plans and inspects the work. We schedule that inspection so you do not have to track anyone down.
PPL Electric Utilities is the utility here. A meter disconnect for a panel swap or new service gets set up with PPL directly. Downed lines and pole outages are PPL's repair. From the meter into the house is ours to fix, any hour.
Our Pennsylvania and New Jersey experts are ready to resolve your electrical woes.

Absolutely thrilled with our electrician Dennis! He was very knowledgeable and polite. Made this process very easy and stress free. We had two light fixtures put in along with an exhaust fan, cleaned up after and everything. Highly recommend this company and their electrician!

Had a great experience with Michael Van for my initial inspection/walk-through and Steve P and the crew with the install. All of them, including the employees on the phone, were polite and prompt, and I'm very satisfied with my new electrical panel and wiring.
