The Thomas Edison difference
An Oakland Mills electrician is closer than you might think. Thomas Edison Electric's crews live around Juniata County and cover ZIP 17076 along with McAlisterville and Mifflintown nearby. We are directly employed, never subcontracted, in fully stocked vans.
We carry PA075449, full insurance and a 4.8-star rating on Google. Since 2021 we have finished over 37,000 jobs. Reach us at 570-648-8800 any hour. Every job starts with a written quote, and a late arrival waives the dispatch fee.
No subcontractors, ever. Crews dispatch from their own homes in stocked TEE vans.
A single bad outlet gets the same licensed electrician as a panel job.
You know the price before anything is touched.
Nights, weekends and holidays included.
We hold ourselves to the window we give you.
Ask about flexible payment options on larger jobs.
We're dedicated to building lasting relationships with every client through exceptional service and guaranteed results.

Transparent pricing means written quotes with no surprises.
Oakland Mills is small, and most calls are everyday ones: a breaker that keeps tripping, a dead light switch, an outlet that needs grounding before an appliance goes in. Our vans carry the parts to close that out in one visit.
Juniata County's older housing, much of it from the 1970s, often still runs aluminum branch wiring and 100-amp panels. When we find that in Oakland Mills, a panel upgrade or a dedicated circuit for a workshop usually solves it.
McAlisterville is 2.7 miles off, Mifflintown 5.2, Thompsontown 5.4, all on the same call list.
Like every community in Juniata County, Oakland Mills falls under Pennsylvania's Uniform Construction Code for electrical permits, and the township usually uses an outside agency to review plans and inspect finished work. We handle the filing and the inspection booking.
PPL Electric Utilities serves Oakland Mills. Any job touching the meter, a new panel or bigger service, needs PPL for the disconnect and reconnect, which we coordinate. A road-wide outage goes to PPL. Just your house, call us, any hour.
Our Pennsylvania and New Jersey experts are ready to resolve your electrical woes.

Absolutely thrilled with our electrician Dennis! He was very knowledgeable and polite. Made this process very easy and stress free. We had two light fixtures put in along with an exhaust fan, cleaned up after and everything. Highly recommend this company and their electrician!

Jimmy made the service call easy. After describing our issue, 2 min max, he already knew what was wrong. He quickly identified, found, and fixed the offending GFI. After years of using Thomas Edison Electric we always refer them to friends and family.

Had a great experience with Michael Van for my initial inspection/walk-through and Steve P and the crew with the install. All of them, including the employees on the phone, were polite and prompt, and I'm very satisfied with my new electrical panel and wiring.
