A house from 1995 starts with good news: copper wiring is the norm. The pinch point is the panel. A 100 to 150-amp panel was plenty in 1995. It runs out of room once a heat pump, a hot tub or an EV charger arrives. So we count spare slots and amps first. If the panel is full, a panel upgrade comes first. The EV charger or heat pump circuit follows, all on one written quote.
PECO Energy Company is the utility for Milford Square. A service upgrade means a PECO meter visit, which we book. Quakertown, 3.1 miles away, runs its own borough electric system.
Milford Square is a census-designated place, so the township covering your address issues the permit. That happens under the Pennsylvania Uniform Construction Code, usually through a third-party inspection agency. We pull the permit, book the inspection and meet the inspector, with the fee in your quote.
PECO Energy Company serves the community. A service upgrade includes a PECO disconnect and reconnect at the meter, which we arrange. If your bill comes from Quakertown's borough system, we work with the borough instead. From the meter in, it belongs to us, over 37,000 jobs since 2021 and counting.
