The Thomas Edison difference
In Moscow, the electrician who answers your call is a Thomas Edison Electric employee, not a subcontractor standing in. The van arrives fully stocked, straight from home. Moscow sits in Lackawanna County, a short distance from Elmhurst, 3.0 miles off, with Dunmore and Scranton further out still.
Full insurance and Pennsylvania license PA075449 stand behind every job, priced in writing before work begins. Nights, weekends or holidays, it makes no difference. Call 215-227-7000, answered 365 days a year. Show up late, and there is no dispatch fee.
Moscow calls go to a Thomas Edison Electric employee who drives a fully stocked TEE van from home.
A panel sized for 1981 often cannot absorb a heat pump or EV charger without an upgrade first.
You know the exact cost before we start, full stop.
Any service upgrade gets coordinated with PPL so the timing actually lines up.
24/7, 365 days a year, holidays included, no different rate for the inconvenient hours.
4.8 stars on Google, PA075449 licensed and insured, with more than 37,000 jobs finished since 2021.
We're dedicated to building lasting relationships with every client through exceptional service and guaranteed results.

Transparent pricing means written quotes with no surprises.
Moscow's homes typically date to 1981, late enough that copper wiring is the standard, not the exception. The catch is not the copper, it is capacity. A 100 or 150-amp panel sized for an early-1980s household runs out of headroom fast once a heat pump, a hot tub or an EV charger joins the mix.
A load calculation tells us exactly how much room is left. From there, a circuit breaker upgrade closes the gap. New EV charger circuits and dedicated circuits for a hot tub or workshop are the calls we get most, each one priced in writing first.
Elmhurst, Dunmore and Scranton draw from that same bench of electricians, so wait times here are not an afterthought.
Moscow Borough issues the electrical permit under Pennsylvania's Uniform Construction Code. Inspections typically go through a third-party agency rather than a borough building department. We handle that end to end: the application, the inspection date, and the walkthrough itself, already accounted for in your written quote.
PPL Electric Utilities owns the poles, lines and meter serving Moscow. A panel upgrade on our end usually means a disconnect and reconnect on PPL's end. We are the ones who schedule that, not you.
Our Pennsylvania and New Jersey experts are ready to resolve your electrical woes.

Absolutely thrilled with our electrician Dennis! He was very knowledgeable and polite. Made this process very easy and stress free. We had two light fixtures put in along with an exhaust fan, cleaned up after and everything. Highly recommend this company and their electrician!

Had a great experience with Michael Van for my initial inspection/walk-through and Steve P and the crew with the install. All of them, including the employees on the phone, were polite and prompt, and I'm very satisfied with my new electrical panel and wiring.
