The Thomas Edison difference
When Neelyton needs an electrician, Thomas Edison Electric sends someone who already lives in Huntingdon County, not a crew driving in from elsewhere. Neelyton sits in ZIP 17239, near Shade Gap at 2.7 miles, Orbisonia at 6.8 and Rockhill Furnace at 6.9.
Our electricians are directly employed, never subcontractors, and each one is licensed under PA075449 and insured. We take calls 24/7, 365 days a year, and quote every job in writing before starting.
No subcontractors here, just electricians on our own payroll who live nearby.
Feeders to outbuildings, well pump circuits and generator hookups are routine calls.
Every connection gets checked and fixed properly, not patched.
You see the price before any tool comes out.
24/7, 365 days a year, holidays included.
Over 37,000 jobs completed since 2021, PA075449 licensed.
We're dedicated to building lasting relationships with every client through exceptional service and guaranteed results.

Transparent pricing means written quotes with no surprises.
Homes across Huntingdon County often still carry aluminum branch wiring, 100-amp panels, two-prong outlets, and once in a while a recalled Federal Pacific or Zinsco panel. Those show up on rural properties around Neelyton as often as anywhere else in the county.
We correct aluminum connections at every joint, replace panels that are recalled or simply full, and run dedicated circuits out to barns, garages and workshops. A standby generator with a transfer switch is a common add for anyone who has sat through a long rural outage.
In Neelyton, a permit means the township signs off under the state Uniform Construction Code, with a third-party agency doing the actual inspection, much like elsewhere in Huntingdon County. We arrange all of it as part of the job, permit and inspection both.
Met-Ed / Penelec serves most addresses near Neelyton, and New Enterprise Rural Electric Cooperative or Valley Rural Electric Cooperative cover other parts of the county. We check which one bills you before scheduling any work that touches the meter. Call 215-227-7000 for anything on your side of it.
Our Pennsylvania and New Jersey experts are ready to resolve your electrical woes.

Mike from Thomas Edison Electric replaced our out-of-service-life whole-house surge protectors and repaired a lighting fixture for our deck. He did an excellent professional job. He didn't try to sell us things we didn't need. I highly recommend Mike.
