A 60-amp service made sense in 1951. A Norwood kitchen then had a refrigerator and a toaster. Today the same house runs a microwave, a dishwasher, an electric dryer and a window air conditioner in each bedroom, and every summer the fuses start blowing.
That is the job we do most in Norwood: a fuse box out, a 200-amp breaker panel in, and PECO booked to swap the meter. Then we add dedicated circuits for the dryer, the range and the air conditioners so they stop sharing.
