The Thomas Edison difference
Seven Valleys electricians from Thomas Edison Electric aren't strangers to a borough of about 598 people. We dispatch from our own homes across York County in fully stocked TEE vans, not a distant call center. Seven Valleys sits in ZIP 17360, 3.2 miles from Loganville and 3.4 miles from York New Salem.
We're family owned, multigenerational and licensed under PA075449, fully insured. Electricians here are direct employees, never subcontractors, and each clears a background check first. Call 717-274-2700 any hour, and expect a written price before work begins.
Aluminum branch wiring and recalled Federal Pacific or Zinsco panels are common calls here, and we fix both safely.
Every electrician works directly for Thomas Edison, not a subcontractor.
Parts for panel swaps and outlet grounding ride along on the first visit.
The price is set and approved before any panel gets opened.
A slipped window takes the dispatch fee off automatically.
Licensed, covered, and well reviewed across York County.
We're dedicated to building lasting relationships with every client through exceptional service and guaranteed results.

Transparent pricing means written quotes with no surprises.
The typical Seven Valleys home dates to 1960. Houses from that era often carry aluminum branch wiring, 100-amp panels and two-prong outlets with no ground. Recalled Federal Pacific or Zinsco panels turn up often too.
Met-Ed is the electric utility here. When work touches the meter or service size, Met-Ed schedules the disconnect and reconnect around our timeline. Storm damage to the lines is Met-Ed's repair, not ours.
An electrical safety inspection is a good first step in a 1960 home. From there, most jobs move to a panel upgrade, plus ceiling fan swaps in warmer months.
Seven Valleys Borough issues the electrical permit under Pennsylvania's Uniform Construction Code. Like most York County boroughs, it contracts plan review and inspection to a third-party agency rather than running its own building department. We pull the permit and walk the inspector through the work.
Met-Ed is the electric utility for Seven Valleys. Replacing a recalled panel with a modern one usually means a meter disconnect and reconnect, which we schedule with Met-Ed. Everything from the meter into the house is ours to fix, any hour we're called.
Our Pennsylvania and New Jersey experts are ready to resolve your electrical woes.

Absolutely thrilled with our electrician Dennis! He was very knowledgeable and polite. Made this process very easy and stress free. We had two light fixtures put in along with an exhaust fan, cleaned up after and everything. Highly recommend this company and their electrician!

Had a great experience with Michael Van for my initial inspection/walk-through and Steve P and the crew with the install. All of them, including the employees on the phone, were polite and prompt, and I'm very satisfied with my new electrical panel and wiring.
