The Thomas Edison difference
Need a Susquehanna electrician? Thomas Edison Electric covers ZIP 18847 in Susquehanna County, sharing that ZIP with neighboring Lanesboro, just 1.2 miles off. Thompson, Hallstead and Great Bend sit within roughly 8 miles too.
Across Susquehanna County, aluminum branch wiring, 100-amp panels, two-prong outlets and recalled Federal Pacific or Zinsco panels turn up often in older homes. Our electricians dispatch from their own homes in fully stocked TEE vans. Call 215-227-7000 any hour.
Sized for multi-day winter outages, with an automatic transfer switch that starts on its own.
Tripping breakers and dead outlets get the same licensed electrician as a full panel job.
A written report before you list or buy near Susquehanna.
Electricians dispatch from their own homes across the county in fully stocked TEE vans.
No surprise pricing once the job is underway.
Nights, weekends and holidays included.
We're dedicated to building lasting relationships with every client through exceptional service and guaranteed results.

Winter is the busiest season for us around Susquehanna. The county sits in the Northeast Pennsylvania snowbelt, rural and heavily wooded, and outages run longer here than in most of the state. A standby generator with an automatic transfer switch is one of the most requested installs in town.
We also handle the everyday list: breakers that trip, outlets that die, panels that need a real evaluation before a home sale. A full electrical safety inspection covers all of it, with a written price for anything we find. Sharing a ZIP with Lanesboro doesn't change the crew or the standard, just the address.
Susquehanna's permits fall under the state's Uniform Construction Code, with a third-party agency handling plan review and inspection since the area doesn't run its own building department. We file the permit and manage the inspection from start to finish.
PPL Electric Utilities is the electric provider for most of Susquehanna. A meter change or service upgrade goes through PPL, and we schedule the disconnect and reconnect directly with them. Storm repairs to the lines are PPL's responsibility. Everything from the meter into the house is ours, any hour you call.
Our Pennsylvania and New Jersey experts are ready to resolve your electrical woes.

Mike from Thomas Edison Electric replaced our out-of-service-life whole-house surge protectors and repaired a lighting fixture for our deck. He did an excellent professional job. He didn't try to sell us things we didn't need. I highly recommend Mike.
