Wyncote's homes date to around 1951 on average, so older electrical systems are common. Knob-and-tube remnants, fuse boxes, 60-amp services and ungrounded outlets all still turn up on service calls here. None of it needs to stay that way.
A fuse box swaps for a modern breaker panel with room to spare. A 60-amp service becomes 100 or 200 amps, enough for central air or an EV charger. See circuit breaker repair and upgrades. Two-prong outlets get grounded the code-approved way, or protected with GFCI.

Wyncote's electrical permits go through the township under Pennsylvania's Uniform Construction Code. As with most of Montgomery County, a third-party agency typically handles plan review and inspections. We pull the permit, schedule the inspection and are on site for it, folded into your written quote.
PECO Energy Company is the utility here, so a panel replacement or service upgrade means a scheduled disconnect and reconnect at the meter, which we arrange directly. Outages and downed lines are PECO's to repair. From the meter inward, panel, wiring, every outlet, is our work, any hour.
