The Thomas Edison difference
Beach Haven electrician requests usually come from ZIP 18601 or the small river towns around it, Wapwallopen and Nescopeck closest, Sugarloaf and Shickshinny not far past them. Thomas Edison Electric answers with our own licensed crew, dispatched from home in a fully stocked TEE van, never a subcontractor filling the gap.
We hold PA license PA075449, carry full insurance, and have completed over 37,000 jobs since 2021. Someone picks up 24/7, 365 days a year, and every job comes with a written quote before work starts. Call 570-648-8800, and if we're late, the dispatch fee is on us.
Beach Haven jobs go to Thomas Edison employees only.
PPL, UGI Electric or Claverack, we coordinate whichever one serves you.
Aluminum wiring and recalled panels come out for good, not a patch.
You see the number before anything gets touched.
Nights, weekends and holidays included.
If we miss the window, the dispatch charge disappears.
We're dedicated to building lasting relationships with every client through exceptional service and guaranteed results.

Transparent pricing means written quotes with no surprises.
Older homes around Beach Haven, like much of Luzerne County, often still carry aluminum wiring on the branch circuits, a 100-amp panel and two-prong outlets, and it's not unusual to find a recalled Federal Pacific or Zinsco panel behind the door. We treat the replacement as routine, not a crisis.
We also handle the requests that come up in between: a dedicated circuit for a well pump or workshop, a full safety inspection before a home sale. Wapwallopen and Nescopeck get the same crew and the same written pricing as Beach Haven itself.
Electrical permits around Beach Haven go through the township under Pennsylvania's Uniform Construction Code, and most townships in Luzerne County lean on a third-party inspection agency rather than running their own building department. We handle the filing and meet the inspector so the process stays off your plate.
Power here can come from PPL Electric Utilities, UGI Electric or Claverack Rural Electric Cooperative, depending on the address. Whichever one serves your home, we schedule the disconnect and reconnect for any service upgrade or meter change. Outages on the lines are the utility's to fix. From the meter in, any hour, that's ours.
Our Pennsylvania and New Jersey experts are ready to resolve your electrical woes.

Mike from Thomas Edison Electric replaced our out-of-service-life whole-house surge protectors and repaired a lighting fixture for our deck. He did an excellent professional job. He didn't try to sell us things we didn't need. I highly recommend Mike.
