The Thomas Edison difference
Searching for a Sybertsville electrician? Thomas Edison Electric sends licensed crews to ZIP 18251 and the small Luzerne County communities around it. Conyngham sits 1.2 miles away, with Sugarloaf, Saint Johns and Drums close by too. Our electricians dispatch from their own homes in fully stocked TEE vans, so a call here gets the same attention as a call anywhere else we work.
We are a family-owned, multigenerational company, licensed under PA075449 and fully insured. Every job starts with a written quote, and if we run late, we waive the dispatch fee. Call 570-648-8800 any hour, any day of the year.
Electricians live around Luzerne County and drive stocked TEE vans from home, not a distant yard.
Aluminum wiring and recalled Federal Pacific or Zinsco panels are familiar work here.
PPL, UGI Electric or Claverack, whichever bills you, we coordinate the meter work.
One outlet or a full panel swap, the price comes in writing first.
Nights, weekends and holidays, a licensed electrician still picks up.
PA075449, insured, 4.8 stars on Google, over 37,000 jobs completed since 2021.
We're dedicated to building lasting relationships with every client through exceptional service and guaranteed results.

Transparent pricing means written quotes with no surprises.
If your panel trips more than it should, the cause is often one of a few usual suspects in this part of the county: aluminum branch wiring, an undersized 100-amp panel, or a recalled Federal Pacific or Zinsco breaker box. A 200-amp upgrade usually settles it for good.
PPL Electric Utilities powers most of Sybertsville, though homes near Sugarloaf and Drums sometimes run on UGI Electric or the Claverack Rural Electric Cooperative instead. Whichever one bills you, we coordinate the meter work directly. The utility owns the lines to the house. Everything from the meter in, including new dedicated circuits for a workshop, is ours.
Electrical permits in Sybertsville go through the township under Pennsylvania's Uniform Construction Code. Most Luzerne County municipalities use a third-party inspection agency rather than their own building department. We file the permit and meet the inspector, so you do not have to.
PPL Electric Utilities serves most of the area, with UGI Electric and the Claverack Rural Electric Cooperative covering other pockets. Storm damage to the lines is the utility's repair. From the meter in, the panel and wiring are ours, any hour.
Our Pennsylvania and New Jersey experts are ready to resolve your electrical woes.

Mike from Thomas Edison Electric replaced our out-of-service-life whole-house surge protectors and repaired a lighting fixture for our deck. He did an excellent professional job. He didn't try to sell us things we didn't need. I highly recommend Mike.
