Your Saint Johns Electrician, Local and Licensed

The Small Jobs We Handle Most Near Saint Johns

Plenty of visits here are simple: a flickering light, an outlet that stopped working, or a wobbly ceiling fan. Our vans stock the parts for that kind of job, so most of it finishes in one visit.

Across Luzerne County, aluminum branch wiring, 100-amp panels and two-prong outlets are common in older homes. Recalled Federal Pacific or Zinsco panels turn up too. Saint Johns is part of that pattern. We also handle custom lighting and ceiling and attic fan installs, each with a price in writing before we start.

Permits, Inspections and Your Utility in Saint Johns

If the power is out on your whole street, that call goes to the utility. If it is just your panel or a room in your house, that call is ours, any hour of the day. PPL Electric Utilities covers most of this area. UGI Electric and Claverack Rural Electric Cooperative reach a few nearby pockets too.

Electrical permits here run through the township under Pennsylvania's Uniform Construction Code. Like most municipalities in the state, plan review and inspection usually go to a third-party agency. That's instead of a town building department. We take care of filing the permit and scheduling the inspector. It never becomes something you have to track down yourself.

Light fixture service

Mike from Thomas Edison Electric replaced our out-of-service-life whole-house surge protectors and repaired a lighting fixture for our deck. He did an excellent professional job. He didn't try to sell us things we didn't need. I highly recommend Mike.
