Across Luzerne County, a 100-amp panel and aluminum wiring on the branch circuits are common enough that we check for both on nearly every visit, along with two-prong outlets and the odd recalled Federal Pacific or Zinsco panel. Drums fits that pattern.
PPL Electric Utilities powers Drums. Everything from the meter into the house is ours to handle; PPL takes care of the poles and outages. We also install dedicated circuits, fix amperage issues, and wire range and dryer outlets, each with a price in writing. Call 610-782-9000 any hour.
Electrical work in Drums needs a permit under the state's Uniform Construction Code, and most municipalities in this part of the county contract that inspection out to a third-party agency. We handle the filing, the scheduling and standing in for the inspection.
PPL Electric Utilities serves Drums. A service upgrade or meter swap needs a disconnect and reconnect on PPL's end, and we book that as part of the job. Line damage and outages outside are PPL's to fix. Everything from the meter in is ours, any hour.
Our Pennsylvania and New Jersey experts are ready to resolve your electrical woes.

Mike from Thomas Edison Electric replaced our out-of-service-life whole-house surge protectors and repaired a lighting fixture for our deck. He did an excellent professional job. He didn't try to sell us things we didn't need. I highly recommend Mike.
