Bear Creek Township's homes date to 1975 on the median, squarely in the years that gave us aluminum branch wiring, 100-amp panels and two-prong outlets. A recalled Federal Pacific or Zinsco panel still doing the job decades later is common too.
None of that is a crisis alone, but it's worth knowing what's behind your walls. We correct aluminum connections with the right connectors, replace panels out of room, and add dedicated circuits for the workshops a 1975 build never planned for.

Power here can come from PPL Electric Utilities, UGI Electric or Claverack Rural Electric Cooperative, depending on your address. A panel upgrade or new service means a scheduled disconnect and reconnect with whichever utility serves you. Downed lines are the utility's to restore. Everything from the meter in, any hour, is ours.
