The Thomas Edison difference
Cherryville electricians at Thomas Edison Electric see a different housing stock than most of the county. This census-designated place in Northampton County largely went up around 1984, closer to Treichlers and Danielsville than to the county's older boroughs.
Our electricians are direct employees who dispatch from home in fully stocked TEE vans, never subcontractors. We hold PA license PA075449, carry insurance, and answer 610-782-9000 24/7. Every quote is written before work starts.
A 1984-era panel often needs headroom before a heat pump or EV charger goes in.
No aluminum-connector repairs here, just clean capacity upgrades.
We add the dedicated circuit without disturbing the rest of your panel.
One call to us covers the disconnect and reconnect both.
610-782-9000 reaches a licensed electrician any hour, holidays too.
Insured, rated 4.8 stars on Google, with financing options if you need them.
We're dedicated to building lasting relationships with every client through exceptional service and guaranteed results.

Cherryville's typical home is newer than much of the county, and copper wiring is the norm here rather than aluminum. The issue instead is capacity. A 100 to 150-amp panel from 1984 was sized for a different era of appliances, and it runs out of room fast once a heat pump, hot tub or EV charger joins the load.
We run a load calculation, then either free up capacity or upgrade the panel outright. EV charger circuits and standby generators are common requests here, along with dedicated circuits for hot tubs and workshops. Treichlers is 1.4 miles away, Danielsville 2.8, and Walnutport 3.2.
Cherryville has no borough hall of its own, so permits route through the township under Pennsylvania's Uniform Construction Code, typically via a third-party inspection agency. We handle the filing, book the inspector, and stand there for the walkthrough, all included in your written quote.
PPL Electric Utilities serves Cherryville. A panel upgrade or new hot tub circuit that changes your service size means a scheduled disconnect and reconnect with PPL, which we arrange. Outages and line repairs are PPL's. Everything from the meter in, panel to outlet, is ours.
Our Pennsylvania and New Jersey experts are ready to resolve your electrical woes.

Mike from Thomas Edison Electric replaced our out-of-service-life whole-house surge protectors and repaired a lighting fixture for our deck. He did an excellent professional job. He didn't try to sell us things we didn't need. I highly recommend Mike.
