The typical Conestoga home dates to 1974. Aluminum branch wiring, 100-amp panels and two-prong outlets are common for houses of that age, and a recalled Federal Pacific or Zinsco panel isn't unusual either.
We remake aluminum connections with rated connectors, ground or GFCI-protect two-prong outlets, and swap out a recalled panel for a modern upgrade. A dedicated circuit is the usual next step for a workshop, well pump or hot tub.
Conestoga isn't its own borough, so electrical permits are filed through the township under Pennsylvania's Uniform Construction Code, with a third-party agency usually handling plan review and inspections. We take that off your plate, from filing to scheduling the inspector.
PPL Electric Utilities serves Conestoga. A panel upgrade or new service means a disconnect and reconnect at the meter, timed with PPL so the house isn't without power longer than it has to be. A wider outage on the street is PPL's repair, not ours.
