The Thomas Edison difference
East Waterford electricians from Thomas Edison Electric already live in Juniata County, not somewhere else. About 116 people live in this ZIP 17021 community, with Honey Grove 3.5 miles off, Port Royal 16.1 and Mifflintown, the county seat, 17.5.
We employ our electricians directly, license them under PA075449, and insure every job. Calls get answered 24/7, 365 days a year, and every visit starts with a written price before work begins.
Fuse boxes and knob-and-tube remnants are ordinary work for us.
Our electricians live in Juniata County and drive stocked vans from home.
Two-prong outlets get a real ground or GFCI protection.
The price is set before any work starts.
Nights, weekends and every holiday are normal hours here.
Over 37,000 jobs completed since 2021, PA075449 licensed and insured.
We're dedicated to building lasting relationships with every client through exceptional service and guaranteed results.

East Waterford's homes typically date to 1938. Knob-and-tube remnants, fuse boxes, 60-amp services and ungrounded outlets are still common in a house built that early, and we see all four regularly out this way.
We swap old fuse panels for modern breakers, correct knob-and-tube wiring an inspector would flag under our code violations work, and ground outlets that were never wired for a real ground. A safety inspection is the quickest way to see what's actually in your panel.
East Waterford's permitting sits with the township, following the state Uniform Construction Code, while a third-party agency handles inspections, typical for Juniata County. We take care of scheduling both, so the process stays out of your way.
PPL Electric Utilities serves most of East Waterford, and Met-Ed / Penelec or Valley Rural Electric Cooperative cover other parts of the county. We confirm which one bills your address before any meter work. Call 215-227-7000 for anything past the meter.
Our Pennsylvania and New Jersey experts are ready to resolve your electrical woes.

Absolutely thrilled with our electrician Dennis! He was very knowledgeable and polite. Made this process very easy and stress free. We had two light fixtures put in along with an exhaust fan, cleaned up after and everything. Highly recommend this company and their electrician!

Jimmy made the service call easy. After describing our issue, 2 min max, he already knew what was wrong. He quickly identified, found, and fixed the offending GFI. After years of using Thomas Edison Electric we always refer them to friends and family.

Had a great experience with Michael Van for my initial inspection/walk-through and Steve P and the crew with the install. All of them, including the employees on the phone, were polite and prompt, and I'm very satisfied with my new electrical panel and wiring.
