The Thomas Edison difference
A Felton electrician from Thomas Edison Electric is never far. Our crews dispatch from their own homes across York County, fully stocked and ready. Felton, ZIP 17322, is a small borough of 453 people a few miles from Red Lion, Brogue and Dallastown.
PA075449 is our state license number, and full insurance backs every visit. We've logged over 37,000 completed jobs since 2021 as a family business. Dial 717-274-2700 whenever you need us, and you'll have a written price before work begins.
The electrician who shows up is a direct Thomas Edison Electric employee with a fully stocked van.
Fuse boxes, knob-and-tube segments and 60-amp service are familiar, not a surprise.
We line up the disconnect and reconnect so your project doesn't stall.
Nothing gets scheduled until you've approved the written quote.
All covered, all year, at no extra hoop to jump through.
license PA075449, fully covered, and over 37,000 jobs finished since 2021.
We're dedicated to building lasting relationships with every client through exceptional service and guaranteed results.

Transparent pricing means written quotes with no surprises.
1938 is the year Felton's typical home went up, which means the original fuse box is still doing the job in plenty of houses. A 60-amp service was generous back then and is tight now, and knob-and-tube segments plus two-prong outlets round out the picture we usually find.
Red Lion and Brogue keep the same crew busy that answers in Felton. Every one of them is on our payroll, not a sub's, and the price is written down before the first tool comes out. A fuse box swap usually starts as a panel upgrade, and we finish with an electrical safety inspection to check the rest of the house.
Electrical permits in Felton are issued under Pennsylvania's Uniform Construction Code, and the borough hands plan review and inspection to a third-party agency rather than staffing its own department, the norm across York County. That paperwork trail, start to finish, is ours to manage.
Met-Ed delivers the power here. A panel swap or new service means a scheduled disconnect and reconnect at the meter, which we set up directly with Met-Ed. A line down in a storm is on Met-Ed to fix; the wiring inside your walls, at any hour, is on us.
Our Pennsylvania and New Jersey experts are ready to resolve your electrical woes.

Absolutely thrilled with our electrician Dennis! He was very knowledgeable and polite. Made this process very easy and stress free. We had two light fixtures put in along with an exhaust fan, cleaned up after and everything. Highly recommend this company and their electrician!

Jimmy made the service call easy. After describing our issue, 2 min max, he already knew what was wrong. He quickly identified, found, and fixed the offending GFI. After years of using Thomas Edison Electric we always refer them to friends and family.

Had a great experience with Michael Van for my initial inspection/walk-through and Steve P and the crew with the install. All of them, including the employees on the phone, were polite and prompt, and I'm very satisfied with my new electrical panel and wiring.
