Craley has no census record of its own, so we lean on what is true across York County. Aluminum branch wiring, 100-amp panels, two-prong outlets and recalled Federal Pacific or Zinsco panels turn up often in homes of a certain age. We upgrade panels to 200 amps, correct aluminum connections, and add grounded or GFCI outlets.
Met-Ed serves the Craley area as the primary utility, with PPL, PECO and Adams Electric Cooperative covering other parts of the county. Anything that touches the meter, a new service or a panel swap, gets scheduled with the right one.
Beyond panels, we install ceiling and attic fans, add dedicated circuits for workshops, and design custom lighting for kitchens and porches. Call 717-274-2700 any hour.
There is no Craley building department to call about a permit. Like the rest of York County, the township that covers Craley leans on a third-party agency for plan review and inspections, working under Pennsylvania's Uniform Construction Code. Our part is doing the paperwork: filing it, setting the inspection date, and being there when the inspector shows up.
Met-Ed bills most of Craley, with PPL, PECO and Adams Electric Cooperative covering other stretches of York County. Once a job needs the meter touched, we schedule the disconnect on our end and the reconnect once the inspection clears. Outage repairs on the lines stay with Met-Ed.
Our Pennsylvania and New Jersey experts are ready to resolve your electrical woes.

Absolutely thrilled with our electrician Dennis! He was very knowledgeable and polite. Made this process very easy and stress free. We had two light fixtures put in along with an exhaust fan, cleaned up after and everything. Highly recommend this company and their electrician!

Had a great experience with Michael Van for my initial inspection/walk-through and Steve P and the crew with the install. All of them, including the employees on the phone, were polite and prompt, and I'm very satisfied with my new electrical panel and wiring.
