The Thomas Edison difference
Windsor electrician calls often come from the streets around Red Lion and Dallastown, and Thomas Edison Electric answers them the same way we answer anywhere else in York County: a crew dispatched from home, in a fully stocked TEE van. Windsor sits in ZIP 17366, 1.8 miles from Red Lion and 2.6 miles from Dallastown.
We're family owned, multigenerational and licensed under PA075449, fully insured. Electricians on staff are direct employees, never subcontractors, and each passes a background check first. Call 717-274-2700 any hour for a written price before work starts.
Knob-and-tube remnants and fuse boxes are common finds in Windsor, and we replace them right.
A Thomas Edison electrician handles every Windsor call, not an outside crew.
Vans carry grounded outlets, breakers and wire for fixes a home inspection turns up.
No surprise charges once the job is underway.
A missed window takes the dispatch fee off the bill.
Licensed, covered and rated well across York County.
We're dedicated to building lasting relationships with every client through exceptional service and guaranteed results.

Transparent pricing means written quotes with no surprises.
Windsor's typical home dates to 1938. That means knob-and-tube remnants, old fuse boxes, 60-amp services and outlets with no ground wire show up regularly behind the panel door.
Met-Ed is the electric utility here. A job that touches the meter or the service size gets scheduled through Met-Ed, and we set the timing to match the inspection. Storm damage outside the house is Met-Ed's to repair.
A home inspection ahead of a sale often turns up an old fuse box or an ungrounded outlet, and we clear those code violations fast. Most Windsor jobs move next to a panel upgrade, with data line runs added for newer home offices.
Windsor Borough issues the electrical permit under Pennsylvania's Uniform Construction Code. As in most York County boroughs, plan review and inspection typically run through a third-party agency rather than an in-house building department. We handle the permit and are on hand when the inspector arrives.
Met-Ed is the electric utility for Windsor. A panel upgrade or new circuit that changes the service means a disconnect and reconnect at the meter, which we schedule with Met-Ed. Everything past the meter is ours, any hour we're called.
Our Pennsylvania and New Jersey experts are ready to resolve your electrical woes.

Absolutely thrilled with our electrician Dennis! He was very knowledgeable and polite. Made this process very easy and stress free. We had two light fixtures put in along with an exhaust fan, cleaned up after and everything. Highly recommend this company and their electrician!

Jimmy made the service call easy. After describing our issue, 2 min max, he already knew what was wrong. He quickly identified, found, and fixed the offending GFI. After years of using Thomas Edison Electric we always refer them to friends and family.

Had a great experience with Michael Van for my initial inspection/walk-through and Steve P and the crew with the install. All of them, including the employees on the phone, were polite and prompt, and I'm very satisfied with my new electrical panel and wiring.
