The Thomas Edison difference
Call a Brogue electrician from Thomas Edison Electric and a subcontractor never shows up. Our crews are on our own payroll and dispatch from their own homes across York County in fully stocked TEE vans. Brogue, ZIP 17309, sits among several small York County communities: Felton is 4.4 miles away, Craley 5.2 miles, and Red Lion 6.7 miles from Brogue.
We are licensed in Pennsylvania under PA075449 and fully insured. Our family-owned company has completed over 37,000 jobs since 2021. Every electrician passes a background check before stepping into your home, and we answer 24/7, 365 days a year. The price is always in writing first.

Met-Ed is the electric utility that serves the Brogue area, with PPL, PECO and Adams Electric Cooperative covering other parts of York County. When a job touches the meter, a new service or a panel change, we schedule the disconnect and reconnect. Storm outages on the lines belong to the utility, not to us.
Across York County, homes commonly carry aluminum branch wiring, 100-amp panels, two-prong outlets and recalled Federal Pacific or Zinsco panels. We correct aluminum connections, add grounded or GFCI outlets, and upgrade tired panels to 200 amps.
Beyond panel work, we handle range and dryer outlets, data and communication lines, and full safety inspections. Call 717-274-2700 whenever something needs a look.
Brogue has no borough hall of its own, so electrical permits go through the township under Pennsylvania's Uniform Construction Code. Most townships in York County use a third-party inspection agency rather than staffing their own building department. We take care of the filing, set the inspection date, and are on hand when the inspector arrives.
Met-Ed is the utility serving Brogue, alongside PPL, PECO and Adams Electric Cooperative in other parts of York County. Any job that reaches the meter, a new panel or a service change, needs Met-Ed's disconnect and reconnect. We schedule both ends. Once the inspector signs off, everything past the meter is ours to maintain.
Our Pennsylvania and New Jersey experts are ready to resolve your electrical woes.

Absolutely thrilled with our electrician Dennis! He was very knowledgeable and polite. Made this process very easy and stress free. We had two light fixtures put in along with an exhaust fan, cleaned up after and everything. Highly recommend this company and their electrician!

Had a great experience with Michael Van for my initial inspection/walk-through and Steve P and the crew with the install. All of them, including the employees on the phone, were polite and prompt, and I'm very satisfied with my new electrical panel and wiring.
