The Thomas Edison difference
Looking for an Airville electrician? Thomas Edison Electric's crews are directly employed, not subcontracted. They dispatch from their own homes across York County in fully stocked TEE vans. Airville, ZIP 17302, is a small crossroads community with no borough of its own. Brogue is 5.0 miles from Airville, and Delta sits 8.4 miles away.
We hold PA license PA075449 and carry full insurance. We are a family-owned, award-winning company, and every electrician passes a background check. We answer 24/7, 365 days a year, with a written quote before work starts. If we run late, we waive the dispatch fee.
Crews live around York County and dispatch from home in stocked TEE vans.

We handle the disconnect and reconnect for any service upgrade.
The price is set before we start, not after.

Transparent pricing means written quotes with no surprises.
Airville has no census record of its own, so we will not guess at its housing stock. Across York County, though, aluminum branch wiring, 100-amp panels, two-prong outlets and recalled Federal Pacific or Zinsco panels turn up often. We replace those panels with a modern 200-amp unit and correct loose aluminum connections with the right hardware.
Met-Ed is the primary utility around Airville. PPL, PECO and Adams Electric Cooperative are also active elsewhere in York County. A service upgrade means we schedule the disconnect and reconnect with the right one. Storm damage to the lines is the utility's job, not ours.
We also handle the everyday list. That includes dedicated circuits for a workshop, ceiling and attic fans, and custom lighting. Call 717-274-2700 any hour you need us.
Since Airville is not an incorporated borough, the township takes care of permits under Pennsylvania's Uniform Construction Code. Plan review and inspections in this part of York County usually go through a third-party agency rather than a township building department, and filing that paperwork is our job, not yours.
Met-Ed serves the Airville area, while PPL, PECO and Adams Electric Cooperative cover other parts of York County. A panel upgrade or new service needs a scheduled disconnect and reconnect, which we arrange with Met-Ed directly. Storm repairs on the lines stay with the utility, not us.
Our Pennsylvania and New Jersey experts are ready to resolve your electrical woes.

Absolutely thrilled with our electrician Dennis! He was very knowledgeable and polite. Made this process very easy and stress free. We had two light fixtures put in along with an exhaust fan, cleaned up after and everything. Highly recommend this company and their electrician!

Jimmy made the service call easy. After describing our issue, 2 min max, he already knew what was wrong. He quickly identified, found, and fixed the offending GFI. After years of using Thomas Edison Electric we always refer them to friends and family.

Had a great experience with Michael Van for my initial inspection/walk-through and Steve P and the crew with the install. All of them, including the employees on the phone, were polite and prompt, and I'm very satisfied with my new electrical panel and wiring.
