The Thomas Edison difference
A Wrightsville electrician from Thomas Edison Electric shows up in a fully stocked TEE van, dispatched from home rather than a distant lot, same as every town we cover in York County. Wrightsville sits in ZIP 17368, 3.7 miles from East Prospect and 5.6 miles from Craley.
We're family owned, multigenerational and licensed under PA075449, fully insured. Electricians here are direct employees, never subcontractors, and each passes a background check first. Call 717-274-2700 any hour for a written price before work begins.
Knob-and-tube remnants and fuse boxes are routine work for our Wrightsville crews.
Every job goes to a Thomas Edison electrician, never a subcontractor.
Range, dryer and AC outlet parts ride along for remodels and swaps.
You approve the number before anything starts.
A missed window takes the dispatch fee off the bill.
Licensed, covered and rated well across York County.
We're dedicated to building lasting relationships with every client through exceptional service and guaranteed results.

Transparent pricing means written quotes with no surprises.
Wrightsville's typical home dates to 1944. Expect knob-and-tube remnants, old fuse boxes, 60-amp services and outlets without a ground wire behind the panel door or up in the attic.
Met-Ed is the electric utility serving Wrightsville. Panel work or a bigger service means a disconnect and reconnect at the meter, scheduled with Met-Ed directly. A downed line from a storm outside is Met-Ed's repair, not ours.
Kitchens in a 1944 house rarely have the outlets a modern range, dryer or window AC unit needs, so range, dryer and AC outlet work is common here, with a panel upgrade usually next.
Wrightsville Borough issues the electrical permit under Pennsylvania's Uniform Construction Code. Like most York County boroughs, it contracts plan review and inspection to a third-party agency instead of staffing its own building department. We handle the permit and meet the inspector on site.
Met-Ed is the electric utility for Wrightsville. A new range or dryer circuit that changes the service size, or a panel upgrade, means a disconnect and reconnect at the meter, coordinated with Met-Ed. Everything from the meter into the house is ours, any hour we're called.
Our Pennsylvania and New Jersey experts are ready to resolve your electrical woes.

Absolutely thrilled with our electrician Dennis! He was very knowledgeable and polite. Made this process very easy and stress free. We had two light fixtures put in along with an exhaust fan, cleaned up after and everything. Highly recommend this company and their electrician!

Jimmy made the service call easy. After describing our issue, 2 min max, he already knew what was wrong. He quickly identified, found, and fixed the offending GFI. After years of using Thomas Edison Electric we always refer them to friends and family.

Had a great experience with Michael Van for my initial inspection/walk-through and Steve P and the crew with the install. All of them, including the employees on the phone, were polite and prompt, and I'm very satisfied with my new electrical panel and wiring.
