The Thomas Edison difference
Girardville electrician requests go to a crew that actually lives around here, each one a direct hire rather than a subcontractor, keeping a stocked TEE van at home. Girardville is a borough of 1,110 people in ZIP 17935, near Ashland, Frackville and Gordon in Schuylkill County.
We're insured, licensed under PA075449, and closing in on 37,000-plus jobs since 2021. Call 717-274-2700 any hour of the day or night. Every job gets a written quote first, and a late arrival means the dispatch fee is waived.
Girardville's electricians are direct hires who dispatch from home in fully stocked TEE vans.
Sixty-amp panels and knob-and-tube segments are routine, everyday work for us.
Any meter or service upgrade gets scheduled with PPL Electric Utilities.
The price is written down before we start, big job or small.
Nights and weekends get the same answer as any weekday.
Full insurance, 4.8 stars on Google, and financing if you ask.
We're dedicated to building lasting relationships with every client through exceptional service and guaranteed results.

Transparent pricing means written quotes with no surprises.
Expect a fuse box before a breaker panel in most of Girardville's older homes, 60 amps of service, ungrounded outlets, and somewhere in the mix, a length of knob-and-tube wiring left from the original build. A panel upgrade to 100 or 200 amps is usually the first real fix.
PPL Electric Utilities serves Girardville and the boroughs around it. We also answer in Ashland and Frackville with the same crews, so the response does not change based on which side of the borough line you're on.
As with most boroughs in the county, Girardville sends electrical inspections to a third-party agency, even though the permit itself is issued locally under Pennsylvania's Uniform Construction Code. We handle the paperwork and meet the inspector on site.
PPL Electric Utilities is the utility here. PPL repairs a wider outage on the lines. Everything from the meter into the house, any hour, is our side of the job.
Our Pennsylvania and New Jersey experts are ready to resolve your electrical woes.

Mike from Thomas Edison Electric replaced our out-of-service-life whole-house surge protectors and repaired a lighting fixture for our deck. He did an excellent professional job. He didn't try to sell us things we didn't need. I highly recommend Mike.
