The Thomas Edison difference
A Jonestown electrician from Thomas Edison Electric is never a stranger sent in from far away. Our crews are local, not subcontracted, and they leave for the job from their own homes in fully stocked TEE vans. Jonestown Borough, ZIP 17038, sits close to Ono, 3.1 miles off, and Fredericksburg, 3.3, with Lebanon and Annville a bit further out.
Licensed under PA075449 and fully insured, we've completed over 37,000 jobs since 2021. Reach us at 717-274-2700, any hour. The quote is in writing before work starts, and a late arrival means we waive the dispatch fee.
Our Jonestown-area electricians start each job from home, in a fully stocked TEE van.
Copper wiring is standard here, but we confirm the panel has room before a heat pump or EV charger joins it.
Meter changes and service upgrades go through PPL, and we handle the booking.
The price is set before we start, no surprises after.
Holidays and weekends included, every time you call.
PA075449, over 37,000 jobs completed since 2021, financing available.
We're dedicated to building lasting relationships with every client through exceptional service and guaranteed results.

Transparent pricing means written quotes with no surprises.
The typical Jonestown home dates to 1993, solidly in the copper-wiring era. That's good news structurally, but 100 to 150-amp panels from those years fill up fast once a heat pump, hot tub or EV charger enters the picture. We check capacity before anything else.
Jonestown sits inside Lebanon County, and our electricians cover the borough alongside Ono, Fredericksburg and the rest of the county from their own driveways, not a distant lot. Ordinary calls, a flickering light, a dead circuit, a panel that trips under load, fill most weeks here.
Jonestown is its own borough, so Jonestown Borough issues the electrical permit, working under Pennsylvania's Uniform Construction Code like every municipality in the state. As with most boroughs its size, it contracts plan review and inspection out to a third-party agency rather than running a full building department. We handle that step, book the inspector and keep it folded into your written quote.
PPL Electric Utilities is the utility here. Panel and meter work need a PPL disconnect and reconnect, which we schedule directly. A street-wide outage is PPL's fix. Anything past the meter, any hour, is ours.
Our Pennsylvania and New Jersey experts are ready to resolve your electrical woes.

Mike from Thomas Edison Electric replaced our out-of-service-life whole-house surge protectors and repaired a lighting fixture for our deck. He did an excellent professional job. He didn't try to sell us things we didn't need. I highly recommend Mike.
