The Thomas Edison difference
Looking for a Palm electrician? Thomas Edison Electric's crews are our own employees, not subcontractors, and they head out from their own homes in fully stocked TEE vans across Montgomery County. Palm sits in ZIP 18070, with East Greenville 2.2 miles away, Pennsburg 3.3, Red Hill 4.7 and Sassamansville 6.4.
We are a multigenerational, family-owned company, licensed in Pennsylvania under PA075449 and fully insured. Call 610-782-9000 any hour, holidays included, and get a written quote before work starts. If we run late, we waive the dispatch fee.
Federal Pacific and Zinsco panels get replaced, not patched, with a 200-amp panel in their place.
Loose connections get rated connectors, so warm switch plates and flickering lights stop.
A real ground or GFCI protection, priced by the room.
Our electricians dispatch from their own homes in fully stocked TEE vans.
Nights, weekends and holidays included, price on paper before we start.
PA075449, over 37,000 jobs completed since 2021, financing available if you ask.
We're dedicated to building lasting relationships with every client through exceptional service and guaranteed results.

Transparent pricing means written quotes with no surprises.
Across Montgomery County, aluminum branch wiring, 100-amp panels, two-prong outlets and recalled Federal Pacific or Zinsco panels turn up often, and Palm is no exception. We open the panel first, since a recalled label means replacement, not a patch job. Loose aluminum connections get rated connectors, and outlets that need a ground get one.
A 200-amp panel upgrade retires a Federal Pacific or Zinsco panel in one visit. An electrical safety inspection tells you what a Palm panel needs before you buy, sell, or just stop worrying about it.
Palm has no borough hall of its own, so permits for electrical work here go through the township under Pennsylvania's Uniform Construction Code, usually by way of a third-party inspection agency. We file the paperwork, book the inspector and stand there for the visit. That fee is already in your written quote.
PECO Energy Company delivers the power in Palm. A panel upgrade or meter change needs a scheduled disconnect and reconnect with PECO, and we set that up. PECO fixes downed lines. Everything from the meter into the house, panel included, is ours, day or night.
Our Pennsylvania and New Jersey experts are ready to resolve your electrical woes.

Mike from Thomas Edison Electric replaced our out-of-service-life whole-house surge protectors and repaired a lighting fixture for our deck. He did an excellent professional job. He didn't try to sell us things we didn't need. I highly recommend Mike.
