The Thomas Edison difference
Need a Ravine electrician? Thomas Edison Electric's crews live around Schuylkill County and dispatch from their own homes in fully stocked TEE vans. Ravine, ZIP 17966, is home to 537 people, with Pine Grove 2.1 miles away, Tremont 3.8 and Muir 6.2.
We hold PA license PA075449 and full insurance, and our family-owned company has completed over 37,000 jobs since 2021. Call 717-274-2700 any hour. The quote comes in writing first, and if we run late, we waive the dispatch fee.
Aluminum branch wiring and 100-amp panels are common in Ravine, and routine work for us.
Federal Pacific and Zinsco panels still show up here, and we swap them for modern breaker panels.
Upgrades in ZIP 17966 run through PPL at the meter, and we handle that call.
Our electricians live around Schuylkill County and dispatch from home, never a subcontractor.
A price on paper before work starts, one outlet or a full panel.
PA075449, 4.8 stars on Google, and financing available if you ask.
We're dedicated to building lasting relationships with every client through exceptional service and guaranteed results.

Transparent pricing means written quotes with no surprises.
Ravine's typical home dates to 1972, newer than a lot of the county but not free of its own issues. Aluminum branch wiring, 100-amp panels, two-prong outlets and recalled Federal Pacific or Zinsco panels turn up often in houses from this stretch of years.
We remake loose aluminum connections with rated connectors, swap out recalled panels for modern breakers, and add grounding where it is missing. A panel upgrade comes with a written price first. Pine Grove is the closest neighbor at 2.1 miles, and Tower City sits 7.9 miles from Ravine.
Upgrading an older panel in Ravine still means a permit through the township under Pennsylvania's Uniform Construction Code, reviewed by a contracted inspection agency rather than an in-house department, standard for this part of the county. We handle the filing and the inspector's visit, all part of your written quote.
PPL Electric Utilities serves Ravine. A panel upgrade needs a disconnect and reconnect at the meter, which we schedule with PPL directly. A downed line after a storm is PPL's repair. Everything from the meter inward, any hour, is ours to handle.
Our Pennsylvania and New Jersey experts are ready to resolve your electrical woes.

Mike from Thomas Edison Electric replaced our out-of-service-life whole-house surge protectors and repaired a lighting fixture for our deck. He did an excellent professional job. He didn't try to sell us things we didn't need. I highly recommend Mike.
