The Thomas Edison difference
A Richfield electrician from Thomas Edison Electric is not commuting in from somewhere else. Our crews live around Juniata County, cover ZIP 17086, and dispatch from home in fully stocked TEE vans.
Richfield is one of the smaller communities in the county, home to roughly 374 people, with houses typically dating to 1943. We are licensed under PA075449, insured, and rated 4.8 stars on Google. Call 570-648-8800 any hour. Every job comes with a written quote, and a late arrival waives the fee.
Electricians dispatch from their own homes across Juniata County in stocked TEE vans.
Knob-and-tube remnants, fuse boxes and 60-amp services are work we know well.
No surprises once the job begins.
Nights, weekends and holidays included.
We waive the dispatch fee if we miss our own window.

Transparent pricing means written quotes with no surprises.
Houses from 1943 rarely have the electrical system they started with. We often find knob-and-tube remnants still live behind a wall, an old fuse box carrying more than it should, or a 60-amp service that cannot keep up.
We check for all of it during a safety inspection, then give a written price for what needs fixing. Adding a modern dedicated circuit for a well pump or shop is a common follow-up.
Cocolamus is 6.0 miles off, McAlisterville a bit further. Same schedule as everywhere else in Juniata County.
Richfield's electrical permits run through the same system as the rest of Pennsylvania, the state's Uniform Construction Code, with an outside agency usually handling plan review and inspection for the township. That paperwork is part of what we manage, permit through sign-off.
PPL Electric Utilities provides power here. A new meter base or service upgrade means coordinating the disconnect and reconnect with PPL. PPL fixes downed lines and pole outages. From the meter into your house, any hour, is ours to handle.
Our Pennsylvania and New Jersey experts are ready to resolve your electrical woes.

Absolutely thrilled with our electrician Dennis! He was very knowledgeable and polite. Made this process very easy and stress free. We had two light fixtures put in along with an exhaust fan, cleaned up after and everything. Highly recommend this company and their electrician!

Had a great experience with Michael Van for my initial inspection/walk-through and Steve P and the crew with the install. All of them, including the employees on the phone, were polite and prompt, and I'm very satisfied with my new electrical panel and wiring.
