The Thomas Edison difference
Spring Glen electricians from Thomas Edison Electric know this stretch of western Schuylkill County well. Spring Glen, ZIP 17978, sits close to Sacramento, just 1.8 miles off, with Tower City 4.4 miles out and Valley View 4.5.
Across Schuylkill County, knob-and-tube remnants, fuse boxes, 60 amp services and ungrounded outlets are still common finds, and it is the first thing we check on any call out this way. We hold PA license PA075449, and we have completed over 37,000 jobs since 2021. Call 717-274-2700 any hour, and every price is written down before we start.
Spring Glen gets the identical licensed crew, stocked van and 24/7 coverage as every borough nearby.
Knob-and-tube, fuse boxes and 60 amp services are common across Schuylkill County, and familiar work for us.
Every electrician dispatches from home in a fully stocked TEE van.
We handle the utility side of any upgrade or meter change with PPL Electric Utilities.
24/7, 365 days a year, holidays included.
PA075449, over 37,000 jobs completed since 2021, financing available on request.
We're dedicated to building lasting relationships with every client through exceptional service and guaranteed results.

Transparent pricing means written quotes with no surprises.
Spring Glen does not have its own downtown or borough office, but that does not change how we treat the call. The same licensed electrician who works in Tower City or Valley View is the one who answers here, carrying the same stocked TEE van and the same 24/7 schedule.
A lot of what we do nearby is panel work: an old fuse box swapped for a modern breaker panel, knob-and-tube traced and retired, two-prong outlets grounded or protected. We also wire up ceiling fans and add circuits for whatever the next project needs. Financing is available if you would rather spread out a bigger job.
Spring Glen's electrical permits go through its township under Pennsylvania's Uniform Construction Code, the same as most of the county. The township uses a third-party agency for plan review and inspection rather than running its own building department. We take care of filing the permit and meeting the inspector.
PPL Electric Utilities serves this part of the county. On a panel upgrade, PPL handles the disconnect and reconnect at the meter once our work is inspected. Outages on the lines outside are PPL's to fix. Everything from the meter inward, any hour, is ours.
Our Pennsylvania and New Jersey experts are ready to resolve your electrical woes.

Mike from Thomas Edison Electric replaced our out-of-service-life whole-house surge protectors and repaired a lighting fixture for our deck. He did an excellent professional job. He didn't try to sell us things we didn't need. I highly recommend Mike.
