A 1949 panel was built for a much lighter load than today's kitchen and laundry room. We upgrade fuse boxes and small panels to 100 or 200 amps, trace out old knob-and-tube, and add dedicated circuits for whatever the house needs next. Financing is available for the larger jobs.
Valley View has no borough hall of its own, so its township processes electrical permits under Pennsylvania's Uniform Construction Code. Like most of the county, the township uses a third-party agency for plan review and inspections. We file the permit and handle the walkthrough so it stays off your plate.
