The Thomas Edison difference
Meet your Valley View electricians: Thomas Edison Electric crews who already live around this part of Schuylkill County. Hegins is 2.2 miles from Valley View, Sacramento 2.7, and Tower City 4.0.
Valley View is home to roughly 1,487 people, and its houses mostly date to 1949, just after the war, which still means knob-and-tube remnants, fuse boxes, 60 amp services and ungrounded outlets show up regularly. We hold PA license PA075449 and full insurance. Call 717-274-2700 any hour, and every job starts with a written price.
Knob-and-tube remnants, fuse boxes and 60 amp services from this era are routine work for us in Valley View.
No borough office needed. Valley View gets the same licensed crew as any town nearby.
Dispatching from their own homes in fully stocked TEE vans, never a subcontractor.
We manage the utility side of every upgrade with PPL Electric Utilities.
24/7, 365 days a year, holidays included.
PA075449, insured, and a waived dispatch fee if we run late.
We're dedicated to building lasting relationships with every client through exceptional service and guaranteed results.

Transparent pricing means written quotes with no surprises.
Being an unincorporated community does not change how quickly we answer. The same licensed electrician who covers Tower City or Sacramento takes the Valley View calls too, on the same 24/7 schedule, dispatching from home in a fully stocked TEE van.
A 1949 panel was built for a much lighter load than today's kitchen and laundry room. We upgrade fuse boxes and small panels to 100 or 200 amps, trace out old knob-and-tube, and add dedicated circuits for whatever the house needs next. Financing is available for the larger jobs.
Valley View has no borough hall of its own, so its township processes electrical permits under Pennsylvania's Uniform Construction Code. Like most of the county, the township uses a third-party agency for plan review and inspections. We file the permit and handle the walkthrough so it stays off your plate.
PPL Electric Utilities serves Valley View. A panel upgrade means a scheduled disconnect and reconnect at the meter, which we coordinate with PPL directly. Storm damage to the lines outside is on PPL to fix. Anything from the meter inward, any hour, is ours.
Our Pennsylvania and New Jersey experts are ready to resolve your electrical woes.

Mike from Thomas Edison Electric replaced our out-of-service-life whole-house surge protectors and repaired a lighting fixture for our deck. He did an excellent professional job. He didn't try to sell us things we didn't need. I highly recommend Mike.
