The Thomas Edison difference
Need a Pitman electrician? Thomas Edison Electric's crews live around Schuylkill County and dispatch from their own homes in fully stocked TEE vans. Pitman, ZIP 17964, does not show up as its own line in the census, but it gets the same coverage as any town on the map, with Hegins 4.6 miles away, Valley View 4.9 and Sacramento 6.6.
We hold PA license PA075449 and full insurance, and our family-owned company has completed over 37,000 jobs since 2021. Call 570-648-8800 any hour. The quote comes in writing first, and if we run late, we waive the dispatch fee.
Knob-and-tube remnants, fuse boxes and 60-amp services are common across Schuylkill County, Pitman included, and routine work for us.
A dead outlet or a tripping breaker gets the same licensed electrician as a bigger project.
Any upgrade in ZIP 17964 needs PPL at the meter, and scheduling that is on us, not you.
Our electricians live around the county and dispatch from home, never a subcontractor.
A price on paper before work starts, big or small.
PA075449, 4.8 stars on Google, and financing available if you ask.
We're dedicated to building lasting relationships with every client through exceptional service and guaranteed results.

Transparent pricing means written quotes with no surprises.
A tripped breaker or a dead outlet is just as much our work in Pitman as a full panel replacement. The area's older homes, like much of Schuylkill County, tend to carry knob-and-tube remnants, fuse boxes and 60-amp services behind the walls.
When something bigger comes up, a panel upgrade or a standby generator for the next outage, the same crew handles it. Sacramento is 6.6 miles from Pitman, Lavelle 7.3.
There is no borough building department for Pitman, so the surrounding township oversees electrical permits under Pennsylvania's Uniform Construction Code, using a contracted inspection agency the way most of the county does. We handle the whole process on your behalf, application through the final inspection, built into your written quote.
PPL Electric Utilities is the utility for this area. A new service or panel change requires a disconnect and reconnect at the meter, which we schedule with PPL directly. Storm damage to the lines outside falls to PPL, the wiring inside the house is our job.
Our Pennsylvania and New Jersey experts are ready to resolve your electrical woes.

Mike from Thomas Edison Electric replaced our out-of-service-life whole-house surge protectors and repaired a lighting fixture for our deck. He did an excellent professional job. He didn't try to sell us things we didn't need. I highly recommend Mike.
