PPL Electric Utilities is the utility for Tamaqua and the boroughs around it. Every service upgrade or new meter runs through the same coordination, no matter which street you are on. We also answer calls out toward Coaldale and Quakake, since the same crew covers that stretch of the county.
Because so much of Tamaqua was built before the war, our work leans toward panel replacements, rewiring and grounding older circuits. We still handle the everyday list too, a ceiling fan that will not balance or a dead outlet. Every price is written down first, and financing is available for bigger jobs.
