Troxelville's median home dates to 1938, among the older housing stock in Snyder County. Knob-and-tube remnants, fuse boxes, 60-amp services and ungrounded outlets are all common at that age, especially on farms that added rooms over the decades.
A panel upgrade to modern amperage means scheduling PPL Electric Utilities' meter work around ours, which we handle start to finish. We also install lighting for barns and outbuildings, and add grounded range and dryer circuits that a 1930s farmhouse panel was never built to carry.

Troxelville has no borough government of its own, so the township issues electrical permits under Pennsylvania's Uniform Construction Code. Most townships this size in Snyder County hire a third-party agency for plan review and inspections rather than running their own department. We file the permit and handle the inspection visit.
Power out here comes from PPL Electric Utilities, and every service upgrade runs through their meter. We line up the disconnect and reconnect with PPL so the panel work goes smoothly. A line knocked down by weather is PPL's fix. Once you are past the meter, at any hour, that responsibility is ours.
Our Pennsylvania and New Jersey experts are ready to resolve your electrical woes.

Lyle was fantastic to work with! He was very punctual, arriving right within the expected window the day of. While he was here he did good work, made sure to answer all questions during and after the job was completed, and cleaned up all traces of work being done like drywall dust and leftover bits of wire/wood scraps before leaving. 10/10, would entrust again.
