The Thomas Edison difference
Need a West Point electrician? Thomas Edison Electric's crews cover ZIP 19486 and the towns around it, part of Montgomery County. North Wales sits about a mile away, Lansdale and Gwynedd both around 2.3 miles, and Worcester at 2.7.
Every electrician we send is our own employee, licensed under PA075449 and insured, dispatching from home in a fully stocked TEE van. We answer 24/7, with a written quote before work starts and no charge if we run late.
Every West Point electrician on our team is on payroll, dispatching from home in a stocked TEE van.
Our crews cover this whole cluster of towns, not just one zip code.
Federal Pacific and Zinsco panels common to the county get swapped for modern 200-amp service.
The price is on paper before the first tool comes out.
We book the disconnect and reconnect for any service upgrade.
PA075449, over 37,000 jobs completed since 2021, rated 4.8 stars on Google.
We're dedicated to building lasting relationships with every client through exceptional service and guaranteed results.

West Point has no census record of its own, but the housing stock across Montgomery County follows a familiar pattern: aluminum branch wiring, 100-amp panels, two-prong outlets and recalled Federal Pacific or Zinsco panels turn up often. We check the panel brand first on every call.
A recalled panel is a straightforward swap. A 200-amp upgrade replaces it and adds room for central air, an EV charger or a backup generator. Aluminum joints get remade with the right connectors instead of a full rewire.
We also handle amperage issues and range, dryer and AC outlet installs, priced in writing first.
Electrical work in West Point goes through the township under Pennsylvania's Uniform Construction Code, with a third-party agency usually handling plan review and inspections. We handle the paperwork end to end, pulling the permit and being there for the inspection.
PECO Energy Company serves most of this area, though a couple of nearby boroughs run their own electric systems, so check the name on your bill if you are near one. PECO handles the disconnect and reconnect for a panel or service upgrade, and we schedule that directly. Downed lines and outages are PECO's to fix. From the meter in is our job, any hour.
Our Pennsylvania and New Jersey experts are ready to resolve your electrical woes.

Mike from Thomas Edison Electric replaced our out-of-service-life whole-house surge protectors and repaired a lighting fixture for our deck. He did an excellent professional job. He didn't try to sell us things we didn't need. I highly recommend Mike.
