The Thomas Edison difference
York Haven electrician calls come from a small borough of about 732 people, and Thomas Edison Electric treats them the same as any larger town in York County: a crew dispatched from home, in a fully stocked TEE van. York Haven sits in ZIP 17370, 3.3 miles from Manchester and 3.4 miles from Etters.
We're family owned, multigenerational and licensed under PA075449, fully insured. Electricians on staff are direct employees, never subcontractors, and each passes a background check first. Call 717-274-2700 any hour for a written price before work starts.
York Haven's 732 residents get the same licensed crew as any larger town in York County.
Knob-and-tube remnants and fuse boxes are routine work for us here.
Every visit is a Thomas Edison electrician, not a subcontractor.
Met-Ed or Goldsboro's own system, we confirm which one serves your meter first.
You approve the number first, and a missed window waives the dispatch fee.

We're dedicated to building lasting relationships with every client through exceptional service and guaranteed results.

Transparent pricing means written quotes with no surprises.
York Haven's typical home dates to 1938. Knob-and-tube remnants, old fuse boxes, 60-amp services and outlets with no ground wire are familiar finds behind the panel door here.
Met-Ed is the primary electric utility around York Haven. Neighboring Goldsboro runs its own municipal electric system separate from Met-Ed's lines, so we confirm which utility actually serves your meter before scheduling upgrade work.
A tripping breaker or an overloaded panel usually means an amperage problem worth checking first. A dedicated circuit for a workshop is common too, and our 24-hour electrician line covers anything that can't wait.
York Haven Borough issues the electrical permit under Pennsylvania's Uniform Construction Code. Like most small boroughs in York County, it relies on a third-party agency for plan review and inspection rather than its own building department. We pull the permit and meet the inspector when it's time.
Met-Ed serves most of York Haven's electric lines, though neighboring Goldsboro Borough runs a separate municipal system. A panel upgrade means a disconnect and reconnect at the meter, scheduled with whichever utility serves your address. Everything from the meter into the house is ours to fix.
Our Pennsylvania and New Jersey experts are ready to resolve your electrical woes.

Absolutely thrilled with our electrician Dennis! He was very knowledgeable and polite. Made this process very easy and stress free. We had two light fixtures put in along with an exhaust fan, cleaned up after and everything. Highly recommend this company and their electrician!

Had a great experience with Michael Van for my initial inspection/walk-through and Steve P and the crew with the install. All of them, including the employees on the phone, were polite and prompt, and I'm very satisfied with my new electrical panel and wiring.
