The Thomas Edison difference
Need a Lewisberry electrician? Thomas Edison Electric's crews live across York County and dispatch from their own homes in fully stocked TEE vans. Lewisberry, ZIP 17339, is a small borough of 530 people near Rossville and Etters, with Manchester a bit farther south.
We operate under PA license PA075449 with full insurance, and as a family-owned business we've now passed 37,000 completed jobs since 2021. Reach us at 717-274-2700 any hour of the day. A written price always comes before the work.
Lewisberry's service expert keeps a TEE van stocked at home, no subcontractors.
Fuse boxes and knob-and-tube segments are routine, not a surprise, for us here.
Lewisberry Borough's own electric system or the regional utility, either way we coordinate the disconnect.
Written, signed off, no surprises later.
24/7, 365 days a year, holidays included.
PA075449 on record, insured, and 37,000-plus completed jobs since 2021.
We're dedicated to building lasting relationships with every client through exceptional service and guaranteed results.

Transparent pricing means written quotes with no surprises.
Lewisberry is the rare York County borough that runs its own electric system, alongside the region's bigger utilities. On the wiring side, its 1948 median build year means fuse boxes, knob-and-tube segments and 60-amp service are all still part of the territory, with ungrounded outlets not far behind.
Rossville and Etters share the same crew that answers in Lewisberry. Nobody we send is a subcontractor, and the price is settled in writing first. A panel upgrade clears most of what a fuse box can't handle, and a backup generator covers the next outage.
Electrical permits in Lewisberry follow Pennsylvania's Uniform Construction Code, with plan review and inspection handled by a third-party agency rather than the borough itself, the arrangement used across most of York County. We file the paperwork and are there for the inspector's visit.
Most addresses near Lewisberry are served by Met-Ed, while the borough itself runs a municipal electric system for some customers. Either way, a service upgrade needs the meter disconnected and reconnected, and we coordinate that directly with whichever utility applies. Everything past the meter is ours to handle, any hour.
Our Pennsylvania and New Jersey experts are ready to resolve your electrical woes.

Absolutely thrilled with our electrician Dennis! He was very knowledgeable and polite. Made this process very easy and stress free. We had two light fixtures put in along with an exhaust fan, cleaned up after and everything. Highly recommend this company and their electrician!

Had a great experience with Michael Van for my initial inspection/walk-through and Steve P and the crew with the install. All of them, including the employees on the phone, were polite and prompt, and I'm very satisfied with my new electrical panel and wiring.
