The Thomas Edison difference
Looking for a Rossville electrician who isn't calling in from somewhere else? Thomas Edison Electric's crews live and work around York County, dispatching from home in fully stocked TEE vans. Rossville sits in ZIP 17358, 1.3 miles from Wellsville, and within reach of Dover, Lewisberry and Dillsburg.
We're family owned, multigenerational and licensed in Pennsylvania under PA075449, fully insured. Each electrician is a direct employee, never a subcontractor, and passes a background check first. Call 717-274-2700 any hour. The price is in writing before work starts, and a late arrival waives the dispatch fee.
Rossville calls go to a Thomas Edison employee on payroll, not an outside contractor.
Each van carries panel, wiring and outlet parts for same-day repairs.
Federal Pacific and Zinsco panels still turn up here, and we replace them safely.
You approve the number before work begins.
A slipped window waives the dispatch fee.
PA075449, insured, and rated 4.8 stars on Google across York County.
We're dedicated to building lasting relationships with every client through exceptional service and guaranteed results.

Transparent pricing means written quotes with no surprises.
Rossville has no census count of its own, so we won't guess at a population or build year. Across York County, aluminum branch wiring, 100-amp panels, two-prong outlets and recalled Federal Pacific or Zinsco panels turn up often, and older homes near Rossville follow that pattern.
Met-Ed is the main electric utility here. A few small boroughs nearby run their own systems instead, including neighboring Lewisberry, with a municipal setup separate from Met-Ed's lines. We confirm which one serves your address before booking meter work.
Panel upgrades and EV charger installs are steady calls here, along with the occasional dedicated circuit for a shed.
Your township issues the electrical permit here, under Pennsylvania's Uniform Construction Code. Like most of York County, it likely hands plan review and inspection to a third-party agency instead of staffing its own building department. We pull the permit and meet the inspector at the door.
Met-Ed is the electric utility for this area. A panel upgrade or new service means a disconnect and reconnect at the meter, and we book both with Met-Ed. Downed lines outside are Met-Ed's to fix. Everything from the meter inward is ours, any hour we're called.
Our Pennsylvania and New Jersey experts are ready to resolve your electrical woes.

Absolutely thrilled with our electrician Dennis! He was very knowledgeable and polite. Made this process very easy and stress free. We had two light fixtures put in along with an exhaust fan, cleaned up after and everything. Highly recommend this company and their electrician!

Had a great experience with Michael Van for my initial inspection/walk-through and Steve P and the crew with the install. All of them, including the employees on the phone, were polite and prompt, and I'm very satisfied with my new electrical panel and wiring.
