Transparent pricing means written quotes with no surprises.
Dover's homes have a median build year of 1974. That decade left behind aluminum branch wiring, 100-amp panels, two-prong outlets and, in some houses, recalled Federal Pacific or Zinsco panels. We correct aluminum connections with the right hardware and upgrade tired panels to 200 amps.
Met-Ed is the primary electric utility around Dover, with PPL, PECO and Adams Electric Cooperative serving other parts of York County. A service upgrade means we coordinate the disconnect and reconnect with the right one, so you only make one call.
We also add dedicated circuits for kitchens and garages, install ceiling and attic fans, and bring range and dryer outlets up to code. Call 717-274-2700 any hour.
Getting a permit in Dover means working within Pennsylvania's Uniform Construction Code, the same as any York County borough. Dover typically assigns plan review and inspections to a third-party agency rather than running its own building department, so the exact office can vary by job. We handle that paperwork start to finish.
Met-Ed is the utility name on most Dover bills. PPL, PECO and Adams Electric Cooperative are the ones to know if your address falls elsewhere in York County. A panel or service change means coordinating a disconnect and reconnect, which we schedule directly with Met-Ed so the timing works around the inspection.
Our Pennsylvania and New Jersey experts are ready to resolve your electrical woes.

Absolutely thrilled with our electrician Dennis! He was very knowledgeable and polite. Made this process very easy and stress free. We had two light fixtures put in along with an exhaust fan, cleaned up after and everything. Highly recommend this company and their electrician!

Had a great experience with Michael Van for my initial inspection/walk-through and Steve P and the crew with the install. All of them, including the employees on the phone, were polite and prompt, and I'm very satisfied with my new electrical panel and wiring.
