The Thomas Edison difference
Looking for a Greeley electrician? Thomas Edison Electric covers ZIP 18425 and all of Pike County. Lackawaxen is 4.2 miles away, Rowland 4.3 and Shohola 5.6.
Our electricians are our own employees, not subcontractors, dispatching from home in fully stocked TEE vans. We are multigenerational and family-owned, licensed under PA075449 and insured. Call 215-227-7000 any hour, with a written quote before work starts and the dispatch fee waived if we run late.
Greeley's calls go to our own employees, never a subcontractor, dispatching from home.
Storms and fallen limbs cause more outages near Greeley than in most of the state, and a standby generator is the usual fix.
PPL, Pike County Light & Power or Met-Ed / Penelec, whichever reaches your meter, we take care of the coordination.
You approve the number in writing before we start the job.
Weekend and holiday calls get the same electrician as a weekday.
PA075449, over 37,000 jobs completed since 2021, financing available.
We're dedicated to building lasting relationships with every client through exceptional service and guaranteed results.

Transparent pricing means written quotes with no surprises.
Ask around Greeley about the power going out, and a downed tree is usually part of the story. Pike County's tree cover makes storm outages more common here than in most of the state, which keeps our generator installs and surge protection work steady.
Underneath, the wiring itself is usually sound copper. What tends to run short is the panel: 100 to 150 amps was plenty decades ago, less so with a heat pump or an EV charger added on. When that happens, a panel upgrade is the fix.
Greeley's permits are not any different from the rest of Pike County: the township issues them under Pennsylvania's Uniform Construction Code, usually with a third-party agency doing the plan review and inspection rather than in-house staff. From the paperwork to the final walkthrough with the inspector, that part is ours to manage.
Power near Greeley comes from one of three providers: PPL Electric Utilities, Pike County Light & Power or Met-Ed / Penelec. Before we quote a service upgrade we find out which one bills you, since that determines who we schedule the disconnect and reconnect with. Storm damage to the lines outside is the provider's repair. Anything from the meter inward, any hour, is ours.
Our Pennsylvania and New Jersey experts are ready to resolve your electrical woes.

Mike from Thomas Edison Electric replaced our out-of-service-life whole-house surge protectors and repaired a lighting fixture for our deck. He did an excellent professional job. He didn't try to sell us things we didn't need. I highly recommend Mike.
