Across Northampton County, homes from this general era often still carry aluminum branch wiring, 100-amp panels, two-prong outlets and, occasionally, a recalled Federal Pacific or Zinsco panel. We handle that work regularly throughout the area.
Aluminum branch wiring gets fixed connection by connection with approved hardware, not torn out wholesale, unless the wiring itself is too far gone. A panel that's full, unsafe or carries a recalled brand name gets replaced outright. EV charger circuits and generator installation round out what homeowners from Hellertown to Northampton ask for most.
Electrical permits here go through the local township or borough under Pennsylvania's Uniform Construction Code, typically via a third-party inspection agency rather than an in-house building department. We take that whole process off your plate: filing, scheduling, and standing with the inspector when they walk the property.
PPL Electric Utilities supplies power across this part of the county. Upgrading your service or swapping the meter base triggers a required disconnect and reconnect with PPL, and we take care of scheduling it. Line damage and outages stay with PPL. Past the meter, every circuit is ours to maintain.
Our Pennsylvania and New Jersey experts are ready to resolve your electrical woes.

Mike from Thomas Edison Electric replaced our out-of-service-life whole-house surge protectors and repaired a lighting fixture for our deck. He did an excellent professional job. He didn't try to sell us things we didn't need. I highly recommend Mike.
