The Thomas Edison difference
Need a Little Meadows electrician? Thomas Edison Electric serves this small Susquehanna County borough, ZIP 18830. Friendsville is the closest neighbor at 6.7 miles, with Brackney, Lawton and Montrose farther out still.
Little Meadows homes date mostly to 1959. Knob-and-tube remnants, fuse boxes, 60-amp services and ungrounded outlets are still common at that age, especially in a borough this size where houses often have one owner for decades. Our electricians dispatch from their own homes in fully stocked TEE vans. Call 215-227-7000 any hour.
Knob-and-tube remnants, fuse boxes and 60-amp service are routine work for our crews.
A full upgrade adds capacity a 1959 household never needed.
A real ground path or a protected replacement, whichever the wiring supports.
Little Meadows gets the same licensed, insured crew as any other town we cover.
The price is approved before we start, no matter the size of the job.
Nights, weekends and holidays included.
We're dedicated to building lasting relationships with every client through exceptional service and guaranteed results.

Transparent pricing means written quotes with no surprises.
A 60-amp fuse box from 1959 was built for a smaller household than most families run today. Upgrading the panel to breakers and 100 or 200 amps is the most requested job in Little Meadows, and it usually turns up a section of knob-and-tube or an ungrounded circuit along the way.
Both get corrected under the same code violation repair visit, with a written price before anything opens up. Being farther from Montrose and the county's larger towns doesn't change the response. The same licensed crew and the same stocked van make the trip.
Little Meadows Borough follows the same permit process as its neighbors. Pennsylvania's Uniform Construction Code governs the work, and a contracted inspection agency, not an in-house building department, reviews and signs off on it. We handle the filing and stay until the inspection passes.
PPL Electric Utilities supplies power to Little Meadows. We schedule the meter work directly with PPL whenever a project calls for a disconnect and reconnect. Storm damage to the line itself is PPL's repair. The service mast, the panel and the wiring behind it are ours to handle, at any hour.
Our Pennsylvania and New Jersey experts are ready to resolve your electrical woes.

Mike from Thomas Edison Electric replaced our out-of-service-life whole-house surge protectors and repaired a lighting fixture for our deck. He did an excellent professional job. He didn't try to sell us things we didn't need. I highly recommend Mike.
