Whichever of the three providers serves your meter, we schedule the disconnect and reconnect for any upgrade.
No surprise charges once the work begins.

Storms hit different in a county this wooded. Pike County sees more downed limbs and outages than flatter parts of the state, and Bushkill is no exception. That is one reason backup generators with automatic transfer switches are steady work for our crews here.
The houses themselves are usually fine underneath. Copper branch wiring is standard, but the 100 to 150-amp panels that came with it fill up fast once a heat pump, a hot tub or an EV charger joins the load. A panel upgrade or a round of whole-home surge protection usually follows.
Electrical permits around Bushkill go through the township under Pennsylvania's Uniform Construction Code, and most townships in Pike County send plan review and inspection to a third-party agency rather than running their own building department. We handle that process for you, start to finish.
Three providers serve the area: PPL Electric Utilities, Pike County Light & Power and Met-Ed / Penelec. We confirm which one bills you before quoting a service upgrade, since that decides who handles the disconnect and reconnect. When trees take down a line, that repair belongs to the utility. A dead circuit inside the house is ours, any hour.
Our Pennsylvania and New Jersey experts are ready to resolve your electrical woes.

Mike from Thomas Edison Electric replaced our out-of-service-life whole-house surge protectors and repaired a lighting fixture for our deck. He did an excellent professional job. He didn't try to sell us things we didn't need. I highly recommend Mike.
