The Thomas Edison difference
Thomas Edison Electric's Narvon electricians are employees, not subcontractors, and they leave for the job from their own homes in fully stocked TEE vans. Narvon, ZIP 17555, sits within Lancaster County near Goodville at 2.1 miles, East Earl at 2.9 and Blue Ball at 3.9.
Licensed under PA075449 and fully insured, we're a multigenerational, family-owned company with background-checked, weekly-trained electricians. We answer 24/7, 365 days a year, quote every job in writing, and waive the dispatch fee if we're running late.
Our team lives around Narvon and the surrounding townships and drives fully stocked TEE vans.
A tripping breaker or a dead outlet gets the same licensed electrician as a bigger job.
Aluminum wiring and recalled panel brands are routine work across this part of the county.
We schedule any meter or service work directly with your electric utility.
You see the cost before any work begins.
Holidays included, with the dispatch fee waived if we're late.
We're dedicated to building lasting relationships with every client through exceptional service and guaranteed results.

Transparent pricing means written quotes with no surprises.
A lot of what we do around Narvon isn't dramatic: a bathroom fan swapped for a quieter model, a breaker that won't stop tripping, an outdoor outlet added for a mower charger. Ceiling and attic fan installs, lighting safety checks and range or dryer outlet work fill a good part of our schedule here.
When the job is bigger, the county's housing stock explains why. Aluminum branch wiring, 100-amp panels and two-prong outlets are typical of homes built through the 1960s and 70s here, and a Federal Pacific or Zinsco panel sometimes needs to come out entirely. Our crews reach Narvon, Goodville and East Earl on the same route.
PPL Electric Utilities keeps the lines running around Narvon, and PPL is who we call whenever a job needs a meter disconnected or reconnected, like a panel upgrade or a new service. Storm damage to the poles and wires is PPL's fix; the panel and everything wired to it inside the house falls to us.
Electrical permits here run through the township rather than a borough hall, following Pennsylvania's Uniform Construction Code. Township inspections are usually contracted out to a third-party agency across this part of Lancaster County, and we deal with that process directly, pulling the permit, setting the inspection date, and being there when the inspector walks through, at no extra cost beyond your written quote.
Our Pennsylvania and New Jersey experts are ready to resolve your electrical woes.

Mike from Thomas Edison Electric replaced our out-of-service-life whole-house surge protectors and repaired a lighting fixture for our deck. He did an excellent professional job. He didn't try to sell us things we didn't need. I highly recommend Mike.
