A 1947 build usually means the original knob-and-tube has been added to over the decades, not replaced. We trace what is left, isolate it, and run modern cable, then check whether the panel can handle the load. A fuse box that still trips under a hair dryer and a microwave is a sign the service needs to grow, and we upgrade the panel to 100 or 200 amps as part of that visit.
