Topton's typical home dates to 1938, old enough that knob-and-tube remnants, fuse boxes, 60-amp service and ungrounded outlets are still common finds. We treat every job the same way: check the panel and the visible wiring first, then quote the work in writing.
Our electricians handle fuse box and panel upgrades, grounding and GFCI protection, and additions like a home EV charger or a standby generator with an automatic transfer switch. As a certified Generac dealer, we install and service those generators too.

A 1938 house in Topton often still has traces of knob-and-tube wiring or an old fuse box, sometimes both. We retire the knob-and-tube runs still carrying a live circuit and replace fuse boxes with a modern breaker panel sized for how the house is used today.
