Transparent pricing means written quotes with no surprises.
A typical Stockertown house was built around 1948, old enough to still be running on 60-amp service in some cases, with a fuse box at its heart and knob-and-tube wiring or ungrounded outlets waiting to be found. It's ordinary for a borough this age, and it's work we handle routinely.
We add dedicated circuits for kitchens and workshops, replace fuse boxes with breaker panels, and ground outlets that need it. An electrical safety inspection is a good place to start if you're buying or just unsure what's behind the walls. Easton is 5.0 miles off, Martins Creek 4.5.
Stockertown's borough government issues the electrical permit, working within Pennsylvania's Uniform Construction Code the same as every town in the county, and like most of them it contracts a third-party agency to inspect the work. Once your quote is signed, getting that permit and meeting the inspector is on us.
PPL Electric Utilities provides electricity to Stockertown. We schedule the required disconnect and reconnect with PPL any time a job changes your meter base or service size. Line repairs after a storm and neighborhood outages fall to PPL. Everything on your side of the meter falls to us.
Our Pennsylvania and New Jersey experts are ready to resolve your electrical woes.

Mike from Thomas Edison Electric replaced our out-of-service-life whole-house surge protectors and repaired a lighting fixture for our deck. He did an excellent professional job. He didn't try to sell us things we didn't need. I highly recommend Mike.
