Alburtis homes typically date to 1989, late enough that copper wiring is standard and the panel is usually grounded. The issue tends to be capacity, not safety. A 100 or 150-amp panel installed then rarely accounted for a heat pump, a hot tub and an EV charger all wanting power at once.
